Leaside is a popular east-end community located to the north and south of Eglinton Avenue, generally between Laird Drive and Bayview Avenue.
Leaside homes were built mostly in the 1930s and 1940s. Well-maintained, solidly-built bungalows and detached and semi-detached two-storey houses line Leaside's tree-lined streets. Recent years have seen extensive renovations of the smaller homes. Many of the original bungalows have second-storey additions, while others have been torn down completely and replaced with new custom homes.
Outstanding parkland and recreational facilities, safe streets, great schools, and excellent shopping and dining make Leaside an ideal neighbourhood for families and children.
